Description:
As an experienced and motivated Director of Product Management at Unite Us, you’ll be a key leader in the product organization and manage a growing team of product managers. You will be responsible for engaging your team in crafting and managing product roadmaps, crafting product strategy, assessing competitive and regulatory landscapes, partnering closely with engineering and design teams, and evangelizing product capabilities internally and externally.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers to drive performance and achieve team and individual goals
- Create context for and empower your team to identify solutions, deliver value to customers and users, and foster creativity
- Cultivate an environment where people can bring their whole selves to work and advocate for your team and team members
- Foster deep collaboration, disrupt silos, and promote transparency by connecting people, managing cross-team dynamics, and partnering with other functional leads to ensure product management, design, and engineering are operating effectively at all levels
- Drive and refine product roadmap and portfolio initiatives and guide team on roadmapping exercises and feature elaboration
- Pursue opportunities for innovation and evaluate the performance of your product lines
- Identify and act against any roadblocks, always suggesting solutions to even the most complex issues
- Communicate status and challenges to upper management and across to stakeholders as you work cross-functionally with other teams to execute features and ensure a cohesive integration across the broader organization
- Consistently demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and product proficiency
You’re a good fit for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in product management and product leadership
- A dedicated mindset to meet the expectations and requirements of clients and users
- Ability to successfully navigate and contribute to a highly matrixed environment
- Mastery of translating even the most complex business needs into practical applications and solutions
- Excellent persuasion and communication skills with ability to evangelize a compelling product vision internally and externally
- Self-directed mindset with strong prioritization and leadership skills
- High focus on shipping products, with ability to make trade-offs that require prioritizing different competing demands
- Positive ‘can do’ demeanor, self-motivated
- Dynamic adaptability to shifts in priorities, resolving contention and solving problems across teams
- Focus on optimizing for value and experience working in or managing Agile teams is highly desirable
- Expertise in healthcare or social services industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulations is a plus but not required
Environmental Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- This position is remote, US Based only
- The target pay range for this role is: $150-170k. This salary range represents our national target range for this role. Some geographic areas may have higher target ranges.
- All team members will be required to pass a background check which includes criminal, employment, and education verification
