We are looking for a Director of Sales and Business Recruiting to join our growing recruiting team. This role will help lead and inspire a team of recruiting individuals as well as build strong connections across our global team. This role will be responsible for leading multiple teams of sales and business recruiting leaders and ICs, partnering with our Go to Market and Business leadership, improving our systems and processes, building employment brand, creating noteworthy candidate experiences as well as hiring, growing and developing the best talent for our recruiting team. This role is a key member of the Checkr Recruiting leadership team, reporting to the VP of Global Talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and refine the impact of our Go to Market and Business recruiting functions to meet the needs of Checkr as we grow and scale globally
  • Drive efficiency through technologies, processes, and workflows
  • Assist in the build and adoption of new visualizations that tell a story with data to the business leadership as well as your teams and leaders
  • Creation of long term investment plans, growth strategies, and roadmaps
  • Communication to and influence of business partners (up to C-level) through the use of data and presentations
  • Dedication to inclusive hiring practices to help drive and deepen diverse candidate slates

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of related experience in Recruiting with a proven track record of building/scaling teams focused on Talent Acquisition. 
  • Experience leading Go to Market (including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, etc.) is required. Experience leading recruiting teams outside of Go to Market is also required. A strong network of Go to Market talent is critical.
  • Prior experience growing and leading a high-impact and high-performing team.
  • Global experience, particularly supporting teams in Latin America, EMEA and APAC is preferred.
  • Experience with Greenhouse is strongly preferred. Experience with Gem is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience building world-class programs solving business problems around pipelining diverse talent, working with early/emerging talent and remote talent innovation is preferred
  • Strong understanding of relevant compliance with respect to immigration, EEOC, AAP, OFCCP, GDPR and CPRA is strongly preferred
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills are required
  • Strong process-orientation, organization, and follow-up skills

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $147,573 to $307,165.
