As our Director, Search Media you will…

Be Accountable and Responsible

For leading paid search media programs and should have an excellent understanding of the full process from strategy and plan development, to execution and measurement. Your core responsibilities include developing strategic, digital programs that address campaign objectives and deliver business results for one or more clients.

  • Work with leads to align strategies across Paid Search accounts
  • Document existing strategies & best practices for internal use
  • Develops organized Paid Search testing plans and strategies
  • Identify account roadblocks and work with leads to resolve
  •  Prioritize high-risk clients to emphasize foundational best practices and strategic direction, aligning with client goals
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and be the escalation point for all team members
  • Ability to identify larger team opportunities
  • Deep understanding of Paid Search best practices (both set by Google and the team) as well as full implementation of these best practices on accounts
  • Perform in-depth analysis and audits of existing Paid Search programs
  • Train all staff on account structure, day-to-day execution tasks, and anything else required
  • Works with leads to ensure Paid Search accounts are driving the best possible performance for clients
  • Assist Paid Search leads with onboarding of new accounts
  • Upsell current clients and communicate the value of the additional opportunity

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 9-12 years of digital media experience 
  • Demonstrated experience driving cutting-edge, complex, integrated program design and implementation with demonstrable ROI
  • Proven ability drafting Points of View, strategic plans, and performance reports in a logical format/flow, being sure to detail strategic insights and learnings with clarity and purpose
  • Curiosity about the ever-changing media landscape, and desire to share the latest industry trends and developments with the broader team
  • Proven team builder with both client and cross-capability teams, clarifying roles and expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to see beyond the explicit assignment and identify broader, longer-term opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to anticipate client needs/perspective/process and respond accordingly
  • Detail-oriented and well organized
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
