How You'll Make an Impact:

In this role you will support the brand, marketing and sales team to define and drive online product strategies that deliver compelling storytelling through product. This position will help plan, develop, and execute products on our wholesale partners ecommerce site and help support related marketing efforts. This role will also specifically support sponsored search at Amazon. This role will report to a VP of Sales and is based in our New York office.

40% Wholesale E-Commerce Product & Site Optimization

  • Responsible for ensuring online product accuracy and product optimization on wholesale account sites
  • Maintains accurate product merchandising in alignment with brand guidelines across various categories
  • Manage e-comm branding presence including Brand Stores, Assets, Copy, messaging for top all accounts
  • Partner with Creative and Sales team in delivering and updating brand experience, including brand store refreshes, campaign and product assets, copy, messaging for accounts
  • Partner with Sales and Brand team on product launches to ensure all necessary assets, item titles, and descriptions are relevant to current market conditions and competition
  • Utilize consumer insights, account sales data, and competitive research to strengthen brand positioning. Share potential product development opportunities & product updates/improvements
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales team to ensure all account marketing campaigns are aligned with brand and account objectives
  • Develop promotional campaigns during key events (Moby Whale of a Sale, Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
  • Support Sales team with execution of bundles

40% - Amazon Sales & Marketing Tactic

  • Utilize Amazon performance reporting (Market Basket, Variation Sales, Repeat Purchase Behavior, A/B testing, Brand Store Analytics) to share consumer insights, potential bundles, competitive research, keyword performance, etc.
  • Manage sponsored agency partnership and communicate with Amazon partners

20% - Manage Account Item Setups

  • Partner with the sales coordinator and account executive for all item setups to ensure they have all assets to drive sales online
  • Communicate all product changes to accounts

Must have:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales, marketing or ecommerce merchandising role
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive team environment
  • Showcase strategic thinking abilities by approaching challenges innovatively and thinking outside the box
  • Display a natural curiosity for learning, consistently seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skills
  • Exhibit adaptability and flexibility, easily adjusting to evolving situations and embracing change with a positive and open mindset

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA)
  • Retail or wholesale experience
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, demonstrated through the creation of reports and presentations to support project coordination efforts.
  • Sponsored Ads experience with Amazon Ads, Criteo, etc
  • Infuse creativity into projects, leveraging a unique perspective to enhance problem-solving and drive innovation
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently, while seamlessly transitioning to a collaborative team approach
  • Compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 a year based on experience
