Job Description

Compensation Pay Range:

$56,000.00 - $85,000.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The EDI Administrator is responsible for the coordination and management of all aspects of EDI, including business analysis and project management in order to ensure that all system changes are processed as according to guidelines. Recommendations for improvements based on existing operating procedures and maintaining high customer service level is required.

The EDI Administrator must have a solid understanding of the business practices of the client company as the Administrator’s ability to understand the client's impending needs will have a direct impact on the efficiency of the client company.

Essential Job Functions

Manage and coordinate EDI processes in order to ensure that all system changes are processed as according to change control guidelines.

Assign/delegate tasks and responsibilities to other EDI team members as required.

Responsible for tracking and resolving EDI production system problems by monitoring all inbound and outbound EDI activity.

Manage all aspects of on-boarding new EDI trading partners (set-up, testing, and implementation) for both customers and vendors. This includes streamlining the on-boarding procedures and check-off list documents. 

JSD creation and management (JIRA creations and assignments, Priority management, Tracking)

Manage and perform updates to the VFR vendor tracking system for replenishment and special order setup status by vendor

Working knowledge of a wide range of EDI documents, various EDI communications, AS2, FTP, XML, Spreadsheet, ANSI X12, JSON, Connection Certificates and Value Added Networks (VANS).

Analyze, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions to EDI Application interfaces and maps.

Coordinate to ensure that the initial contact for troubleshooting inquiries, monitoring document transmissions is completed.

Monitor and research and the correction of data and transmission errors.

Monitor that all PO 850 documents have been acknowledged by vendors.

Resolve daily mapping and EDI issues with trading partners.

Interact with other O’Reilly team members and trading partners for day-to-day support of EDI issues.

Set-up, monitor and manage various application housekeeping processes. 

Perform audits to ensure quality standards are being met on a regular basis.

Work with all other I.T. Teams as required in resolving issues and setting priorities.

Interact with internal and external I.T., and Business teams.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams on project tasks.

Solid understanding of the business practices of the trading partner companies in order to understand the trading partner's impending needs.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must, particularly in the ability to relate technical information to non-industry personnel.

Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively resolve issues requiring immediate attention in a timely and responsible manner.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Documentation (organization and clean up) + Clean-up and development of training documents and Zooms.

Proving training and support to other EDI team members.

Facilitate business analysis sessions.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

10 years of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience as either an Analyst or EDI management role

3+ years of experience with ANSI X12 EDI standards

Proven experience with the Cleo EEI Application

Intermediate to advanced skills in modifying existing datasets and message classes (X12 maps), Cleo Clarify packages, and utilizing spreadsheet and XML-based templates

Basic to intermediate experience with SQL

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired:

Finance, Computer Science or Business Administration degree or equivalent work experience

Experience with CIC (Cleo in the Cloud) Ecosystem Solutions

Experience with ERP applications.

Confluence and JIRA application experience
