Electrician Apprentice Helper

Harrison Generator is seeking a reliable and hardworking Helper / Technician Assistant to join our team. This candidate will keep our shop, and vehicles tidy and always supplied, support our service technicians in maintaining and repairing generators and assist on electrical jobs at times. This can be an entry level position for someone looking to start a career in the generator or electrical field! Job duties to include the following: · Assist technicians with generator maintenance, repairs, and installations · Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment · Clean and organize work areas, vehicles, and job sites · Deliver parts or tools if needed · Help with basic mechanical tasks under supervision · Perform other duties as assigned Required skills to include: · High school diploma or equivalent required · Basic understanding of electrical systems · Basic understanding of engines · Ability to follow instructions and work with others · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs · Willingness to work in various outdoor conditions · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail · Strong organizational skills is a must · Strong computer skills is a must Candidate must want to go to schooling/training and advance in their career path. Candidate must be drug free and tobacco free to qualify, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Must have reliable transportation.
