Job Description:
The Email Account Manager is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution of our clients' marketing strategies. They are the "glue" who bring together all the disparate pieces to seamlessly deliver on budget and on time. They are the key point person for deliverables for both the internal Merkle team, as well as with clients for tactical delivery or account status. By ensuring marketing and support activities are executed in a timely and efficient manner, the Email Account Manager directly impacts the success of our clients as well as Merkle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee development of email, SMS, and push production execution, ensuring timely and accurate campaigns.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, track campaigns, and drive account management efforts including organizing account documentation and developing process improvements.
- Prioritize and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and appropriately direct the team.
- Support activities that drive execution of clients' marketing strategy.
- Produce error-free work, following standard operating procedures, and drive accuracy initiatives for the account.
- Upskilling in email platform, project management platforms, and other platforms relevant to execution.
- Responsible for post-launch campaign metrics and other ad hoc reporting, as needed
- Research email & SMS marketing trends
- Oversees the implementation of new capabilities
- Team management, as required by the account
Qualifications:
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in production / account management in an advertising agency, marketing company, or client-side marketing department with a working knowledge of:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign experience preferred
- Email Campaign Management
- Project Management
- Creative Development and Production
- Relationship/Client Management
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Prior management experience ideal
- Intermediate proficiency of Excel
- Bachelor's degree required
Additional Information:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
