You will transform marketing strategy into visually compelling, behavior-driven email designs that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth. Working closely with strategists, copywriters, and performance marketers, you will help shape campaigns and automated flows that go far beyond aesthetics. The environment is highly collaborative and feedback-driven, emphasizing both creative excellence and measurable impact. You will also contribute to scalable design systems, testing initiatives, and continuous optimization based on performance insights. This is an opportunity to combine creative storytelling with data-informed decision-making while elevating the standard of email marketing design.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will design and iterate high-performing email campaigns and lifecycle flows that are grounded in conversion strategy and user behavior. You will collaborate across teams to translate strategic ideas into clear, impactful visual communication while continuously improving creative output based on data and testing.

  • Design performance-driven email campaigns and automated lifecycle flows with strong conversion hierarchy and mobile-first execution.
  • Translate strategic briefs into compelling visual narratives aligned with brand and campaign goals.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and marketers to elevate creative concepts and execution quality.
  • Build scalable, modular email design systems and templates within Figma for efficient production.
  • Participate in A/B testing initiatives and iterate designs based on performance insights and user behavior.
  • Ensure all email designs follow best practices for responsiveness, accessibility, and deliverability.
  • Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and asset management systems.
  • Contribute to internal creative initiatives including templates, onboarding materials, and design improvements.
  • Support client onboarding processes and assist in establishing email design systems for new brands.
  • Engage in structured review cycles, incorporating feedback efficiently and improving creative outcomes.
  • Requirements

The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical Email Designer who understands how design drives conversion and customer behavior. You bring strong technical execution skills alongside strategic thinking and thrive in fast-paced, multi-brand environments.

    • 2+ years of experience designing high-volume email campaigns for DTC or ecommerce brands.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-driven email or lifecycle marketing design.
    • Proficiency in Figma (required) and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools.
    • Strong understanding of conversion hierarchy, email UX principles, and mobile-first design.
    • Experience contributing to A/B testing and interpreting performance data to guide design decisions.
    • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high creative quality.
    • Comfortable working in feedback-driven environments and defending design decisions with rationale.
    • Bonus: agency experience, exposure to paid social creative systems, or knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG).
    • Benefits

      • Fully remote role with flexible work arrangements across U.S. time zones (ET, CT, MT, PT)
      • Competitive paid time off (15 days PTO, prorated) plus 11+ paid holidays
      • Creative, diverse, and forward-thinking work environment
      • Strong opportunities for career growth and professional development
      • Collaborative culture that values ownership, freedom, and impact-driven work
