The Employee Lifecycle Manager at Common Thread Collective is a hybrid of operations, human resources, administration, and employee development. In collaboration with your team and the managers of CTC, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of the Employee Lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, promotions, raises, employee counseling + performance improvement plans, leave (medical, parental, etc.), and offboarding. As the right hand person to CTC’s VP of Employee Development and Performance, so you will also play a role in the development of employees by assisting in scheduling, communication, and planning related to various Development & Performance initiatives (e.g. Leadership Training, Management Training, etc), as well as any special projects assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKESUMMARY
Success in this role looks like efficient management of all elements of an employee lifecycle at CTC: hiring, onboarding, benefits, promotions, raises, leaves, performance improvement, and offboarding. You will work to design the systems by which each of these professional events can be streamlined, and take responsibility for the creation and organization of related documentation. Project & people management is imperative in this role; you are responsible for collaborating with and managing fellow CTCers who are also involved in these events. In tandem with other members of the Employee Development and Peformance Department, you will also be a main POC for CTC’s partners and vendors. Finally, you will oversee a variety of administrative tasks, ranging from deck creation for Shareholder meetings to management of the CTC Team Google Calendar.
NECESSARY SKILLS
Process Design
- Effectively design company-wide process for employees to utilize in a digital world; implement user-centric design principles to create clear, efficient workflows and systems that help employees execute initiatives.
Project Management
- Oversee the execution of initiatives at varying levels: company-wide, department-specific, management, etc. Provide clarity around responsibilties and ensure multiple people are working together to accomplish the goal on the desired timeline.
Data Reporting
- Collecting, organizing, distilling, and expressing data from a variety of employee-related measurements including: The Collective Index Survey, quarterly Forward Progress, weekly KPI check-ins from management and quarterly execution reports, weekly qualitative employee reporting.
Group Facilitation
- Ability to prepare for and host group meetings of varying sizes (all the way up to hosting an all-company meeting), including formulating a strategy to express information, checking for understanding from participants, and providing access to review the information via summary or recording.
Documentation & Organization
- Create files, collect signatures, and appropriate organize documentation for all major employee lifecycle events: offer letters, promotions, raises, improvement plans, offboarding, etc.
Human Resource Experience
- General knowledge of human resources best practices, especially related to onboarding and onboarding employees and creating the necessary documentation for such, including managing benefits.

- Keep senior leadership up to speed on any trials occurring with employees, and lean into uncomfortable conversations that provide the challenge an employee needs to grow and succeed in their role.

SALARY RANGE
- $70,000 - $78,000 base salary, annually
- Bonus Structure | 20% of base salary
