Job Title: Engineer, RFIC Design
Job Duties: Design activity for 5G NR and LTE-A cellular handset RFFE products with RF blocks such as RF LNA, switch, tunable filter, etc. Product line includes high performance, high volume RFFE ICs with LNAs, multi-throw RF switches with filter tuning, tunable filters, PAs in die form. Work on the development of products during the entire product life cycle from product definition through product release to end-of-life. As part of a dynamic cross-functional product development team, support other essential disciplines including marketing and applications, project management, characterization, production and test engineering. Product design and evaluation of Schematic Capture, IC layout, Simulation, Package Analysis, and Design Validation. Document all relevant product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage. Work with Characterization Engineers to define test plan, conduct characterization and analyze performance data. Work with Test Engineers to define, develop and ramp production ATE solutions.
Required education: Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.
Additional minimum requirements: academic coursework, internship or work experience to include at least one academic semester or 6 months of training or work or internship experience in the following:
- RFIC Design, RF switches, Low Noise Amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers;
- Analog IC design, bandgap voltage references, low-drop out voltage regulators, operational amplifiers
- IC fabrication and its impact on circuit performance;
- Circuit design, including analog and RF CMOS design.
Salary Range: $113,000 - $130,000/year.
