Engineering Manager, Analytics

We are looking for an individual to lead our Reporting-Analytics Engineering Squad. You will be working with cutting-edge online advertising technology and delivering top notch data transformations, analytics, and visualizations. Our advertising spans billions of requests across thousands of dimension attributes handled by dozens of applications. Understanding the flow of data and integration points will be crucial to building representations ranging from high-level summary insights to low-level minutia. 

What You'll Do:

• Hire, manage, grow, and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Have an expert understanding of modern software development lifecycle using scalable Agile, including experience with CI/CD frameworks.
• Coordinate customer-facing changes across various technical and non-technical stakeholders including other engineering teams and customer support teams.
• Own the processes on your team.
• The role reports to the Head of Data.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams
• 5+ years of experience with React and modern frontend JS technologies
• 5+ years experience with Node.js, backend development, and API design concepts
• 5+ years of experience with Analytics, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and DB design/management concepts
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3+, and styling frameworks, such as Styled Components or Tailwind 
• Experience working with UI/UX designers
• Exceptional people skills - mentoring, guiding, scaling, delegating
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multiple priorities

Would be great if you have:

• Experience with MarTech/AdTech systems, especially with building them
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI, Jenkins, CodeFresh
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience with SVN/GIT and how it relates to managing release cycles
• Experience with AGILE methodologies and ensuring sprint priorities are met
