The Role

The Enterprise Developer II - FlexPLM is a development professional, responsible for the design and delivery of technical solutions used in Deckers’ product development and product line management processes. With their expertise with FlexPLM, they will contribute to the development of our footwear and apparel brands, to work as part of an agile team aligned to the needs of our business process owners. A strong candidate for this role is experienced and competent in designing and developing technical solutions within Deckers FlexPLM applications and integrating FlexPLM to other applications within Deckers Supply Chain portfolio.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop Product Lifecycle Technology Solutions on the PLT Platform.
  • Serves as the FlexPLM development expert in partnership with other IT teams and internal departments to deliver technology solutions that meet the system and process needs of the global organization
  • Support the day-to-day work of the PLT team by offering help, advice and troubleshooting on the systems that have been implemented
  • Collaborate with PLT Product Team to understand requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with PLT Support to resolve User Support issues.
  • Perform Code reviews and adhere to PLT coding guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.
  • Embrace new technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in configuring FlexPLM in an enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of FlexPLM Data Model
  • Knowledge of Product Development Processes like Line sheet Management, BOM (Bill of Materials) Management, Materials Management, Sample Management
  • Experienced in developing with the following: Java, Javascript, JSP
  • Experienced in building REST APIs
  • Experienced in using Eclipse / IntelliJ IDE for development.
  • Experienced in using Version Control Tools like SVN or GitHub
  • Experienced with breaking down customer/user experiences from functional requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experienced in building SQL Queries against the FlexPLM Database.
  • Posess a strong ability in designing reusable and highly performant solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5 years of experience in developing applications on FlexPLM
  • 7 years of total experience in software engineering.
  • Background in Retail Industry with enterprise application development or similar areas are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent applied experience.

$130,000 - $140,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
