About The Team:
The Stamps.com Enterprise Sales Team offers premium cloud based solutions for large multi-location organizations to elevate their mailing and shipping operations nationally. Enterprise is a corporate-focused global service which offers the industry’s highest service levels, master contract instruments, and a uniform cloud based postage platform. It provides a desktop dashboard for corporate administrators and accounting staff, delivering detailed reporting, cost-accounting and user management.
About The Role:
The Enterprise Sales Department serves as the dynamic engine driving Stamps.com's success, fueling our growth through substantial sales revenue and fostering enduring, valuable relationships. As an Enterprise Inside-Sales Representative, you'll be at the forefront, leading the charge with proactive outreach to influential corporate prospects, while providing exceptional responses to inbound customer inquiries.
The new ISR must effectively introduce the Enterprise solution executing a consultative, professional sales engagement which results in closing and service deployment. This position reports to the Enterprise Sales Manager.
Primary Objectives:
- Identify key decision-makers in target organizations.
- Identify and assess the organization’s potential fit for Enterprise services.
- Engage and build relationships with decision-makers.
- Manage and move the engagement from inception to closing.
- Develop & share industry insights and competitive differentiators
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify & qualify target organizations and engage key decision-makers
- Perform daily outbound cold calls and scheduled follow-up communications to prospective customers via telephone and emails.
- Discover opportunities by uncovering unique challenges and growth potential of our prospects, identifying their pain points and business needs
- Identify the organization’s potential fit for Enterprise cloud based Postage services.
- Learn and understand the customer and their business requirements.
- Analyze the customer–what’s their business, their goals, and how can Enterprise add value.
- Build relationships with decision-makers.
- Use consultative sales methods to introduce Stamps.com cloud based Postage services.
- Share benefits of replacing traditional postage meters with online postage.
- Effectively identify and address each prospect’s unique “hot button” business requirements.
- Manage Outbound and Inbound sales process and pipeline
- Perform polished, highly professional online sales presentations to decision-makers.
- Maintain a consistent pace toward the annual Enterprise sales quota requirements.
- Participate in weekly 1:1 pipeline reviews with the manager of enterprise Sales.
- Participate in weekly Enterprise sales team meetings and strategy sessions.
- Provide prompt follow-ups on assigned inbound sales leads.
- Participate in the onboarding of new customers.
- Facilitate delivery of exceptional support levels in collaboration with the Enterprise Support and Enterprise Relationship Management teams.
- Develop competitive insights and selling strategies for competing postage solutions.
- Evaluate sales activity and selling strategies to win the business.
- Acquire insights on competing postage solutions.
- Maintain engagement notes, insights and customer data in Salesforce

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Three (3+) years’ of business-to-business sales experience.
- Experience selling office products, online services, software, SAAS, mailing and shipping services or corporate business services to senior and C- level contacts in large corporate and/or government organizations.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Superior cold-call phone skills and written business communication skills.
- Highly professional online presentation skills.
- Strong technical aptitude particularly in web-based services and/or software.
- Fearless, self-reliant, and highly self-motivated personality with great time management skills and a focus on consistent execution and accountability.
- Strong research, qualifying and closing skills.
- A customer-focused & team-oriented attitude.
- Strong work ethic with exceptional entrepreneurial energy, drive and mindset
The Tech:
- Google/Gmail, MS Office, Word, Excel (basic only); Salesforce CRM experience preferred)
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 5%
