The Role:
We are searching for an experienced Enterprise Sales VP that has real world experience quickly scaling and leading a Field sales team in the eastern half of the US. Someone with a real passion for Security and the ability to deliver on bold revenue targets.
You will manage all aspects of the eastern selling franchise here at Halcyon. You will be tasked with hiring/firing of the field team, personnel development, pipeline management, and area strategy, planning and execution. The primary goal of this role is to lead the East go-to-market function and build a high performing culture here at Halcyon. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the sales leadership team at a company whose leadership has decades of innovation and success in the cyber security industry.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling security-based products.
What you will be doing:
- Leading from the front by spending 50%+ of your time in the field with your team.
- Building GTM execution plans through the community, customer, and partner ecosystems for high growth goals.
- Building and managing a sales function spread across the eastern US.
- Creating personal development plans to continually improve the knowledge and skill set of the Selling function.
- Building awareness and driving demand for Halcyon solutions within large Enterprise accounts
- Serving as an evangelist for our security offerings while communicating and demonstrating the capabilities of our ransomware defensive solution
- Collaborating across Halcyon’s business and engineering functions to ensure a seamless customer and partner experience.
- Working thoughtfully with customers to identify new business opportunities, managing through the sales cycle, and closing complex transactions.
What you have done:
- 3-5+ years of successfully scaling and managing startup sales teams above quota.
- Experience managing teams and selling into Global Fortune 2000
- Deep knowledge of current security solutions and selling strategies
- MEDDPICC Opportunity qualification & strong handle of forecasting methodology.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.
- Superb organizational and reporting skills
- Experience with growing the sales enablement function to support sales in a rapidly evolving and competitive marketplace
- Prior startup experience
- Experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of a channel-centric GTM approaches
