Epic Integration Architect (REMOTE)

Job Description: Epic Integration Architect (Remote) (Full time + Benefits)

Location: Remote, if needed willing to go to Illinois, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Iowa, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing integration solutions for the Epic EHR system, including interfaces and data mapping

Collaborating with clinical staff, IT staff, and vendor representatives to understand the needs of the organization and ensure that integration solutions meet those needs

Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues as they arise

Work with HL7, FHIR, and Epic APIs

Read and write data in Epic We are looking for someone with

Strong technical skills, including experience with integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, and web services.

Definite experience with writing data back in Epic.

3+ years of experience with HL7 and/or FHIR

3+ years of experience with the Epic EHR system, including experience with Epic's integration engine.

Working knowledge of Epic's Open APIs and interface engines like Mirth.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
