As the Executive Assistant you will provide administrative leadership and support to the President/CEO, the Chief Legal and People Officer (CLPO), and the company’s legal and governmental affairs organization.  Primary duties include managing calendars, scheduling, meeting logistics, and travel; drafting communications and presentations; managing corporate policies and records and performing research and coordinating ad hoc projects. You will also play a significant role in supporting the efficient operation of our executive leadership team and legal and governance team, alongside a small team of executive support professionals.Â

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience and proven capabilities providing administrative support, preferably at an executive level.
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work well under pressure.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat - to produce high quality reports, presentations, databases, or other documents.
- Expert knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, and other administrative programs used by Gas South.
- Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in project management or event planning is a plus.
More details on what you would be responsible for:Â
- Provide daily administrative and operational support for the CEO, CLPO, and legal and governmental affairs team (calendar management, agenda planning, expense reporting, team onboarding, and general management of key small to mid-size projects)
- Coordinate and plan travel arrangements.
- Schedule and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings and/or events. Attend and participate as needed to ensure a successful outcome.
- Document key decisions and manage digital and paper corporate records.
- Support the legal team in corporate governance and compliance management.
- Prepare presentations and communications. Facilitate effective communication between the executive office and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and edit emails, letters, reports, presentations, and other correspondence as needed.
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies in department processes and continuously identify proposed improvements.
- Interact effectively with other executives, leaders, executive assistants, and departments to ensure cooperation and open communication.
- Coordinate and complete ad-hoc projects as needed and handle other responsibilities specific to the department.
- Manage corporate policies and records, corporate reporting, and ensure proper distribution of corporate policies.
- Support executives in various projects and initiatives, conducting research, compiling data, and providing administrative assistance as required.
- Provide back-up support for EAs in other parts of the company.
Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.
