Experienced Commercial Construction Carpenter

Carpenter Wanted Full-time, experienced preferred, carpenter wanted to perform commercial construction in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Must have own means of transportation. Experience inlight-gauge metal framing, rough carpentry, drywall, doors/hardware, FRP/bath accessories/other trim carpentry, and acoustical ceiling installationpreferred.Must take direction, cooperate, and work well with foreman and other crew members. • 7 years minimum experience in metal stud framing • Carpentry, other trade skills, and ability to read blueprints/specifications is a plus. • Communication and organizational skills including planning, respect, cooperation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with foreman and crew to meet project requirements. • Maintain work areas. • Maintain tools/equipment are in good condition and safe for use. • Establish and enforce standards of workmanship that meet OSHA requirements. • Report to work on-time and ready to perform.
