Experienced Machinist - Conventional Mill & Lathe

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machining processes. This role involves operating and maintaining manual mill & manual lathe machinery to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Duties • Operate and set up various types of machinery, including manual milling and lathe machines. • Utilize power tools, saws, calipers, micrometers (dial and vernier scale), measuring tapes, etc. to measure and cut materials accurately. • Read and interpret technical drawings & specifications. • Utilize pedestal grinder for sharpening tool bits • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements • Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes. • Proficiency in using basic math for measurements and calculations. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Experience welding on a thermoplastic welder & butt fusion welder is a plus.
