The Job

Medical and Scientific credibility is the foundation. It’s the core of who and what Flo is. 


As a group, these teams engage thought leaders and KOLs (100+ and counting!), establish research partnerships (Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and others), help Developers design our intuitive AI tools, check our Medical Accuracy, and drive medical credibility across the whole platform.


This role’s all about maintaining strong relationships with our ever growing network of health experts who in turn, help us to be the essential female health partner worldwide.


It’s an operationally focussed role, and would be very well suited to an analytical, detail driven person, who also has strong experience in external partnership engagement, communications and relationship management.


As part of a team of four (hopefully soon to be five!), you’ll be working with some of the leading minds in the academic and healthcare community globally, managing contracts, vendors, invoices and payments, content publication, and digital events.

Your Experience

Must have:

  • Strong experience with relationship or client management
  • Experience in setting appropriate tone of voice in external comms and messaging
  • Proven background in contract management
  • Experience working with procurement on invoice creation, payments and payment tracking
  • Experience in the management of Digital Events
  • Content management exposure  - this doesn’t have to be content generation, but experience in publications and editing of online media would be great!
  • Background in managing website content and structure/user journey
  • Demonstrable experience in pitching new ideas, projects or work 
  • Working in a fast-paced environment or multitasking multiple projects/clients
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills

Nice to have:

  • Strong IT ability using: Jira, Confluence, CRM systems (Hubspot is ideal), Miro, spreadsheet formula, any website CMS.
  • Relationship management experience with Doctors, healthcare organizations, academia, charities, Non-Profit organizations, patient bodies or patient groups, or similar 
  • Multiple years of experience in negotiating costs and/or budgets 
  • Background working in a HealthTech environment

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and agreeing on contracts and invoices with third parties (100+ vendors), including due diligence and tax formalities
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the records of interactions, contracts and payments with experts, organizations and freelancers
  • Negotiating partnership conditions and ensuring a smooth onboarding
  • Supporting the medical review process of Flo content by organizing the work of the Flo Expert  board (Onboarding, profile creation, induction training, introductions to the team etc.)
  • Supporting product teams in their projects by organizing and managing experts’ involvement
  • Forming close relationships with internal teams to plan content review requirements, plan expert workload and ensure specialities are covered in the board 
  • Researching new medical and health partners and building close one-on-one relationships with current Flo Experts based on trust and respect (Flo Experts board, Medical associations, Non-profit organizations, Medical universities, etc.)
  • Developing and sharing reports that highlight the work undertaken by the expert board, compliance with SLAs and achievements of the team
  • Optimizing and improving the processes collaborating with Flo Experts Board

Your targets will be:

  • Ensuring our Expert Board content review tasks are completed to agreed timelines/service level agreements 95% of the time
  • Maintaining our Expert Board relationships to cover all of the specialties and diversity required by the content teams 
  • Not losing >5 experts from the board per year 
  • Maintaining our user medical credibility score at >4 out of 5
