About the Position: Coordinates and performs surveillance of a variety of projects, including (but not limited to) major/minor maintenance and repair projects, recapitalization/facilitation projects, equipment upgrades and replacement and process control projects through their entire lifecycle from inception to completion.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: Coordinating a maintenance program concerning facility operations with complicated technical requirements needed to evaluate, adapt, or modify procedures and practices concerning property facilities, utility systems, buildings, equipment, plans, and grounds. Applying a full range of principles, concepts, and methods of facility administration. Inspecting new building construction and/or existing buildings, to identify maintenance or restoration requirements and continually coordinating with engineers on work projects. Estimating material and labor costs for a variety of construction and/or maintenance projects. Reviewing and analyzing work plans to ensure they meet specifications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.

- This is a Career Field (CF) 18 - Engineers and Scientist position.
