Federal Pursuits Manager

Job Description
As a Federal Pursuits Manager, you will develop and lead innovative win strategies across the full federal pursuit lifecycle, including developing requirements, aligning requirements to Cerner products and services, developing contract language and coordinating pricing estimates. You will build and maintain consultative relationships with internal and external clients to facilitate the organization and collaboration required to support win strategies. You will partner with Cerner sales teams to identify, plan and capture new task order opportunities and contract renewals across the federal client base. You will partner with transition teams to facilitate a seamless handover from pursuit to pre- and post-award processes. You will contribute to the establishment, documentation and refining of best practices, strategies and tools for federal pursuits leveraging emerging health care information technology (HCIT) trends, historical outcomes, and knowledge of the legislative, fiscal and regulatory environments. You will maintain, track and report on federal pursuit data to meet reporting requirements.

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education; including:
  • At least 1 years of sales, licensed health care practice, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
  • At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
