Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience with project management or project coordination. In this role, you will work closely with a talented Customer Success, Field Test and Engineering team to execute field activities. 

 

Duties 
  • Support delivery, setup, and field support of Epirus High Power Microwave solutions and Smart Power Solutions in support of field test activities 
  • Support Field Test activities of Epirus High Power Microwave solutions and Smart Power Solutions
  • Coordinate warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory utilized during field testing, demonstrations, and customer field support
  • Oversee the packing, shipping and storage of assets used by field services and field test teams
  • Monitor and manage assigned budgets
  • Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, as well as keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them 
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
  • Work with field test and field service teams to improve purchase processing
  • Manage the process of scheduling the repair and maintenance of the field test and field service team’s assigned assets
  • Monitor cargo movement processes
  • Process expense reports and maintain assigned expense accounts/cards cards
  • Approve delivery and pick up timesheets
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary. 
  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors. 
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the Epirus standards. 
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized. 
Required Qualifications 
  • Education: Require a bachelor’s degree Business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain management or similar degree areas or two-year associate degree and 5+ years of work experience in the logistics field
  • Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience working in the logistics field. Experience managing a team or program in supply chain, logistics or operations. Experience in working more than one area of logistics, such as warehousing or transportation, is a plus. Expert inventory management with the ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes 
  • Interpersonal Skills should include: Positive leadership, which comprises excellent communication and listening skills, ability to embrace change and new concepts, quick critical thinking and problem-solving, excellent customer service and client relations skills, and the ability to maintain outstanding organization and time management skills 
  • US Citizen (future clearance may be required) 
Desired Qualifications 
  • Education: Master’s degree Business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain management or similar degree  
  • International Society of Logistics (SOLE) OR American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification
  • 5+ years of experience working in the logistics field
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities 
  • Great leadership and goal-setting skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with no supervision 
  • Advanced data analysis and data visualization 
  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions 
  • Good coordination and organizational abilities 
  • Familiar with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements as they apply to logistics 
  • Adaptable to new ideas, resourceful, and able to see the big picture with a growing and developing environment

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $43,000 - $81,000.
