Position Summary:
The Field Marketing Representative - Costco is responsible for running Costco roadshows in their territory. They will represent the Greenworks brand in these roadshows. They will be trained to be subject matter experts on our tools and will be able to sell the product in-store to Costco members. These representatives will be responsible for keeping track of inventory, planning/scheduling events and reporting on sales. Each Costco roadshow will run for 10 days (Friday – Sunday) and will be followed by 4 days off (Monday – Thursday). Each representative will do roadshows per month.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Invest time regularly to learn Greenworks roadshow assortment and in-club assortment.
- Setup each Costco roadshow – Thursday night. Tear down roadshow event the last Sunday of the event.
- Staff each roadshow to actively sell to Costco members in-store. Monday through Friday (10 AM–8:30 PM), Saturday (9:30 AM–6 PM), Sunday (10 AM–6 PM). A 30 minute lunch break and other break. Comp days will be provided for working weekends.
- Will work with Costco regional teams to schedule future roadshow events.
- Will manage inventory of goods for sale and inventory of display models.
- Will report on sales during event to summarize a daily report to leadership.
- Point all member concerns and issues to our Costco Customer Service Team.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of field sales/event experience – looking specifically for TTI field sales reps (either Hart, Ryobi or Milwaukee). Event marketing reps and field sales reps.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Motivated self-starter with high energy level. Able to interact well with others to build customer confidence and willingness to purchase and the maintain a good relationship with Costco operators.
- Driver’s license is a must. Must be comfortable towing a double-axle trailer to and from Costco events.
