This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and support youth sports events nationwide, ensuring smooth operational execution and an outstanding experience for participants and stakeholders. The Field Operations Coordinator will assist with event setup, equipment logistics, staff coordination, and vendor management across multiple properties and tournaments. This role requires hands-on involvement at events, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and proactive problem-solving under fast-paced conditions. Travel is frequent, and flexibility in schedule is essential to support weekend and evening events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to enhancing youth sports participation. This position offers exposure to nationally recognized events and the chance to contribute to inclusive, high-impact sports programming.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate event operations, including equipment shipping, setup, and on-site oversight to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist in managing 1099 event staff, interns, and volunteers, maintaining clear communication and task delegation.
  • Support travel coordination, event itineraries, and materials preparation for multiple tournament properties.
  • Collaborate with vendors, facilities, and external partners to ensure resources and logistics are properly aligned.
  • Prepare and analyze event data, reporting outcomes, metrics, and insights to management and executive teams.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and execution of event integrations, promotions, and operational initiatives.
  • Routinely move and handle event equipment, approximately 50 pounds, and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Availability to travel extensively (65%+) and work weekends or evenings based on event schedules.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds regularly.
  • Experience in event operations, coordination, or athletics preferred; college athlete or coaching experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
