This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Operations Director - REMOTE. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of the zone delivery and installation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing logistical and operational challenges while fostering continuous improvement across various functions. The ideal individual is not only a problem solver but also a transformational leader capable of guiding teams through complex operational landscapes. With direct oversight of more than ten team members, this role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority. Accountabilities

  • Own resolution of logistical and operational issues including Missing / Damaged parts.
  • Partner with vendor management and PMO to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input and oversight of the Zone Revenue Forecast.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecast information.
  • Manage activities to accelerate project schedules and mitigate risks.
  • Assist in managing non-conforming costs and analyze data for improvement.
  • Train and mentor field Project Managers.
  • Develop and optimize local processes across zone functions.
  • Support activities to accelerate the book to bill revenue cycle.
  • Provide leadership for risk intervention and implement mitigation measures.
  • Oversee management of 'Bulk orders' in backlog.
  • Continuously monitor projects to meet business objectives.
  • Drive site readiness including remote diagnostics.
  • Provide leadership for Project Managers in critical situations.
  • Proxy for Zone Vice President, overseeing all zone employees.
  • Ensure high competency and training of direct Project Managers.
  • Implement developmental plans for employee performance and career goals.
  • Requirements

  • Over 10 years of successful experience in a related field.
  • Experience in medical imaging installation project management.
  • Preferred experience with Siemens Project Management.
  • BS/BA in a related discipline or advanced degree.
  • High degree of business acumen.
  • Ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Experience with C-level customers preferred.
  • Ability to create and present training material.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
