Working both independently and in coordination with service teams, you will manage field activities, documentation, and follow-ups while delivering high-quality customer service. This is a travel-heavy, technically engaging role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic field environments and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.

Accountabilities

  • Deliver technical phone support when not actively assigned to field service work.
  • Coordinate service activities with Field Service Coordinators and review technical documentation prior to site visits.
  • Accurately document all service activities, submit reports promptly, and provide customer follow-up documentation after site visits.
  • Identify and report quality, installation, or performance issues that may affect warranty or system operation.
  • Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and parts to ensure readiness for field assignments.
  • Support cost control by minimizing service and warranty-related expenses.
  • Participate in product training sessions and ongoing technical development.
  • Travel extensively and work overtime or off-hour assignments as required.

  • Requirements

    • High school diploma plus 1–2 years of trade school in HVAC/R or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry.
    • Alternatively, 7+ years of relevant HVAC/R field experience or Journeyman/Master HVAC license.
    • EPA Type II certification for refrigerant handling and reclamation.
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
    • OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain).
    • Strong ability to read electrical schematics, technical manuals, and service instructions.
    • Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including HVAC/R systems and controls integration.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with customer-facing experience.
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physically demanding field tasks.
    • Willingness to travel by air and work in varied environments, including office, manufacturing, and warehouse settings.

    • Benefits

      • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
      • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • Paid training and ongoing technical certification opportunities.
      • Travel opportunities across diverse customer sites and projects.
      • Overtime eligibility and compensation for off-hour assignments.
      • Company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle support (where applicable).
      • Career growth within a highly technical, specialized field service organization.
