Description:

The PSEMC internship program provides an opportunity to work on real projects with real impact on space exploration, homeland security and the nation's defense.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports with high degree of accuracy and completeness.

2. Enter and maintain financial data in the ERP system related to project budgets and estimates to complete (ETCs).

3. Develop financial models/analyses using data downloaded from ERP system.

4. Communicate articulately with members in various levels and functions of the organization.

5. Support month-end close activities.

6. Assist Financial Analysts, Manager and Director of Finance with a variety of financial assignments, as needed.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Completed Junior year or more.
• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)

Experience Required:

• Previous related work or internship experience a plus, but not required.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to learn quickly, manage time and complete assignments with a sense of urgency.
