Finance Manager

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Finance Manager to own day-to-day finance and accounting operations at the company. The best candidates for this position have rich accounting and analysis experience and are excited about gaining more responsibilities and opportunities as an emerging finance and accounting leader. They will have consistently exceeded expectations on developing and implementing financial processes, and will be able to hit the ground running to manage monthly close, billing processes, financial reporting and other finance and accounting tasks.

• Manage Particle's day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including monthly close, financial statement preparation, billing and accounts receivable, and similar items
• Partner with fractional CFO and department stakeholders to develop company-wide forecasts and budgets, and to prepare budget-to-actuals analyses to explain variances
• Develop reporting package to present financial results, KPIs, and budget variances to leadership team and Board of Directors
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for key stakeholders to support thoughtful and data-driven decision making
• Manage the company’s billing and revenue cycle processes to create an efficient and resilient payment infrastructure
• Manage the company’s accounts payable and expense reimbursement processes to optimize company cash flow and maintain vendor relationships
• Act as a trusted advisor to company leaders and staff on accounting and finance matters.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting roles (startup experience is a plus)
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis and budget development
• Mastery of MS Excel and excellent modeling and data manipulation skills
• Experience with various accounting software packages (Quickbooks Online is a plus)
• Demonstrated experience working among high-performing teams
• Excited about our mission to transform healthcare in the US

• CPA or similar certification
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience with Quickbooks Online, Stripe, Salesforce, Bill.com, Expensify

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000

Please note: Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
