The Opportunity
Our EPD business has an amazing opportunity in Hollywood, Florida. This position provides Financial Leadership support and guidance to Operations functions across EPD LATAM, being the key partner for different stake holders to convert strategy into actions and drive business decision thru the generation of insights from financial data.
What You Will Work On:
In conjunction with other Operations Management members will be responsible to assess business cases and provide financial analysis and insights for effective decision-making. This role will oversee all financial aspects of EPD Business Excellence program and reporting under Provalido System.
Responsible of managing and driving the implementation of ad-hoc Operations Strategic Projects by interacting with cross-functional teams across LATAM Organization, thru planning, overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project-oriented work efforts.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Leads project activities through meeting facilitation, managing project scope, and communicating progress. Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials.
- Generate insights from financial data and provide guidance to Operations LATAM members.
- Lead Financial Analysis for New Product Introduction and other projects addressed at the Sourcing Council.
- Participate in the development, review, and presentation of key area Capital Expenditures.
- Analyze product discontinuation based on profitability.
- Responsible for planning, overall coordination, status reporting of complex and cross-functional project-oriented work efforts.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously and leads project activities through meeting facilitation, managing project scope, and communicating progress.
- Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials.
- Achieves project / program results related to time, scope, and budget to key stakeholders
- Prepares status reports and presentations suitable for varied and multi-level audiences which can be at a detailed level as well as translated to an Executive Summary.
- Deploy best-in-class training, tools, and methodologies to allow the Continuous Improvement team to expose problems, provide guidance and empower them to solve problems.
- Leads status calls with internal / external customers based on project / program applicability.
- Works with Project Stakeholders to ensure alignment between the organization and customer.
- Able to negotiate win/win compromises while representing the best interests of the project.
- Uses good judgment on when to escalate issues and options
- Establishes and manages risk mitigation and issue resolution plans.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and guidelines.
- Support when needed Std setting and LBE process for Latam Operations.
- Challenge "business as usual" using a fact-based, objective mindset.
- Support when required tracking of strategic BEX (Business Excellence) project savings
Required Qualifications
- Candidates MUST be bi-lingual in English and Spanish as this role supports our LATAM Business.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance/accounting, CPA and/or CMA is strongly encouraged.
- Advanced communication skills (bilingual Spanish/English) and able to address all organizational levels.
- +7 Years of total Accounting / Finance experience including +4 years of cost accounting / operations accounting.
- Experience in developing financial models and future planning according to operating needs and growth strategies.
- Previous experience leading and controlling multiple projects and project teams both locally and remote is desired.
- Ability to drive team to delivery, maintain team's focus during periods of change and shifting priorities
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex projects.
- Must be a motivated, forward-thinking individual
- Exercises good judgment and understanding of dependencies across multiple projects
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Structured and organized; use a variety of project management tools to keep projects on track; advocate for best practices and identify/implement them where gaps exist.
- Extensive understanding of International Accounting Policy and Reporting requirements and CFMs
