Finance Project Manager/Consultant (SAP Concur)_ Remote (Travel required)

Kaeppel Consulting is in search of a Finance Project Manager/Consultant who can travel onsite up to 50% of the time with 100% reimbursement to the client’s site in Frederick, MD from November 2023 to June 2024. This high-priority project is modernizing its legacy employee travel and expenses (T&E) and vendor invoicing technology and processes. SAP Concur will be the platform for both. You will need to be an SME in SAP Concur and have experience in the insurance industry. 

Scope: 

• Project Management: Provide structured support for the project going forward. Create a plan for the remainder of the project. Coordinate efforts of project team members (internal and vendors). Provide weekly reporting, tracking of progress, issue and risk logs, etc. Facilitate executive updates as required.

• Testing: Work with the business owner to identify and prioritize issues (functionality, process, bugs, etc.). Design ways to resolve or mitigate those issues prior to rollout if possible.
   
   
• User Experience: Assess the end-to-end user experience, including approvals, reimbursements, and payments to credit card providers. Identify potential issues or pain points (e.g., extended turnaround times for reimbursement) and determine ways to mitigate those challenges. Create and/or validate any new processes resulting from the new technology.
