Finance Systems Solution Architect Lead

Harbor is seeking a Finance Systems Solutions Architect Lead to join our growing team.  The Solutions Architect Lead is responsible for serving as the technical lead on implementations and cloud migrations of law firm finance systems, in particular Elite 3E. The role will be responsible for leading the technical execution of projects and devising innovative solutions in an ever-changing environment. 

This role requires both a consulting and development background, requiring robust interpersonal skills and advanced knowledge in a multitude of technical areas, along with the desire to remain at the forefront of industry related progression. This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the USA, UK or Canada.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide design and architecture consulting for delivering client custom solutions including integrations and customizations 
• Provide input as to developing technology trends on integration software solutions that are used to deliver client solutions 
• Produce proof of concepts to validate innovative solutions 
• Interview clients to develop the functional design specifications 
• Assist with developing project estimates based on requirements and scope 
• Provide detailed specifications for projects 
• Develop, test, and implement custom solutions with a variety of systems including on behalf of clients within the scope of pre-determined budget and schedule  
• Work closely with clients to roll out new software solutions and upgrade existing solutions in both on-premise and in cloud environments 
• Design and develop complex data mappings to move data from multiple sources into a common target area  
• Conduct performance and load testing  
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills with ability to articulate with individuals at all levels 
• Provide maintenance activities for our client solutions, including performative and functional troubleshooting 
• Update skills as necessary to maintain proficiency with business opportunities 
• Consistently maintain 80-90% of time spent on client-billable projects

Qualifications: 

• Four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education 
• Experience and knowledge in a variety of development technologies and software platforms including, but not limited to, Elite 3E, Microsoft SQL Server, .Net framework, OData and RESTful APIs 
• Experience writing Microsoft SQL Server queries (advanced proficiency) and stored procedures with a solid understanding of relational database structure and normalization 
• Experience and knowledge of cloud computing solutions and architecture 
• Experience related to project planning and execution 
• Experience with, and extended knowledge of the methodologies supporting data extraction and integration 
• Understanding of Power Automate or other low code workflow platforms
• Travel required (minimal) as business deems necessary
