The Opportunity

The Financial Analyst works out of our Plano, TX location in the Neuromodulation division. The Financial Analyst is a valued business partner to the Neuromodulation Operations, Finance and Supply Chain teams.

Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.

What You'll Work On:

• Develop detailed understanding of the overall Operations cost structure.
• Extensive trend analysis and modeling with significant use of excel.
• Analytical review includes understanding of the key causals that drive change versus multiple benchmarks.
• Assist in identification and implementation of process improvements.
• Monthly journal entries, reconciling monthly spend and resolving any discrepancies.
• Monthly review and analysis of actual results compared to benchmarks and metrics; including commentary for variances vs benchmarks.
• Interaction with different levels of management, both finance and operational.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and work experience.
• 2+ years finance or accounting experience
• MS Excel and database skills
• Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with senior management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the medical device industry
