About the opportunity
Ontra is offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A.
The role is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about financial analysis and have a strong background in financial modeling. As part of this role, you will provide actionable advice through KPIs, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses that drive performance, minimize risk, and highlight new opportunities.

What you'll do
  • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of operational and financial metrics across the company
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, including supporting analyses and workstreams
  • Take ownership of existing monthly and quarterly financial metrics updates
  • Assist in preparation of materials and analysis for company board meetings
  • Maintain and expand the Company's master financial model, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Create and maintain Excel-based models to handle ad-hoc requests and special projects
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to drive forecasting for quarterly and annual planning cycles

What you'll bring
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related quantitative field required
  • Experience: 2+ years of full-time work experience in roles involving financial modeling, analysis, and other analytical work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a natural ability to solve complex problems utilizing data and financial figures
  • Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail and commitment to delivering flawless work
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner within the context of a global, remotely distributed workforce
  • Self Starter: Proven ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment
