Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for aligning our ITS financial investments with the most valuable outcomes for JM Family. Establish trusted business relationships and develop a strong understanding of the business and strategic objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Support and facilitate the ITS Budgeting and Forecasting process as well as financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Support and facilitate annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, preparation of executive financial presentations
- Partner with ITS associates and business unit customers on monthly financial deliverables, lead monthly financial meetings, identify risks and opportunities, and drive data-driven decision-making
- Review monthly results, provide explanations on major drivers, investigate, and resolve all discrepancies within a tight deadline
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and automation
- Improve the quality of ITS financial data to facilitate transparent reporting to Business Unit customers
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to simplify complex data and translate into meaningful insights
- Experience with month-end close process, accruals, and ability to analyze financial statements
- Ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and summarize financial analytics to facilitate decision-making
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates, learn quickly, and adapt to change
- Highly motivated individual with a strong focus on continual process improvement and efficiency
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, experience with NetSuite general ledger and Essbase
