We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our quickly growing team. As a Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team, you will work directly with Finance leadership, Market Finance teams, and Operational leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals. This individual will be responsible for supporting monthly reporting & closing, department reporting, financial system maintenance, and various ad hoc requests.

How you can make a difference:

  • Supporting the monthly close process, including vendor reconciliations, variance analysis, and executive summaries
  • Partner with functional leaders to track & develop budgets, and evaluate investments and corresponding ROI
  • Streamlining reporting & close activities through the use of technology and process improvement
  • Continue to support, administer, & maintain the Anaplan application
  • Assisting with ad-hoc analysis

  • You are self-starting and maintain a high sense of urgency and accountability in delivering measurable results in line with agreed upon timeframes

Experience to drive change:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance required
  • 1~2 years of Finance or Accounting experience
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management, and leadership skills
  • System savvy – ability to learn a new system quickly and prior experience in process improvement using a system
  • Ability to influence business partners/leaders
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of various financial principles, practices, and applications including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50,000 to $65,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
