About the team:
The Financial Crimes Team at Robinhood works across a number of verticals in an effort to protect our customers, and ensure compliance with all relevant Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions rules and regulations. As our Team of passionate professionals continues to evolve the program, we are focused on using innovative thinking and technology to create a best-in-class Financial Crimes Program.
What you'll do day-to-day:

• Review and test all elements of Robinhood's AML and Sanctions Program, including trade surveillance, case investigations, due diligence, and sanctions to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements
• Analyze testing results to identify trends and thematic issues relating to controls design and operating effectiveness
• Help assess operational quality and supervise the fulfillment of improvement initiatives and action plans
• Brainstorm procedural and/or programmatic enhancements, such as training needs or other improvement opportunities
• Participate in discussions with and provide feedback to stakeholders on periodic results and thematic issues
• Assist in supervising quality metrics across each function of Robinhood's Financial Crimes team for periodic reporting
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of Quality Control materials in response to new products, procedures or controls

About you:

• Passion for Robinhood's products and our mission to democratize finance for all
• Experience with AML and Sanctions and QC/QA assessments
• Experience in analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to remedy issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of core processes to ensure quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized
• Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments; strong bias to action
• Strong written communication skills
• Acute attention to detail
• 3+ years experience in Financial Crimes Compliance, Audit or QC/QA profession
• Bachelor's in finance, business, or quantitative field

Bonus points:

• Strong Robinhood product knowledge
• Experience with QC/QA process and quality assessments
• Experience with Actimize QAS Module
• Experience collaborating with technical and non technical teams
• SQL & python skills
• SIE, Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 licenses
• Professional Certifications (e.g. ACAMS, CFCS , CFE, and CRCM)
