Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Product Owner to join our growing Product Development team to aid us in transforming our financial client operations function. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and delivering financial operations system builds and improvements and maintaining relative subject matter expertise and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the financial operations teams to understand current problems and develop technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to co-develop a roadmap and drive the launch of enhancements to financial systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and collaborators to analyze the impacts of new product features and enhancements.
  • Work in an agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline achievements and results, and see opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with all departments and teams to define the user experience for internal users, including support and monitoring.
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Own the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing partners' requirements.
  • Independently manages multiple, sophisticated, multi-quarter, or year-long projects and prioritizes deliverables across one or more teams.
  • Maintain documentation on features and capabilities for consumption by internal users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technology, finance, or product development.
  • Experience with invoicing, Great Plains, or other financial systems preferred.
  • Experience with integrating back-office systems is a plus.
  • Consistent track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first approach.
  • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with development teams and a high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of Agile principles.
  • Experience reliably driving delivery of end-to-end data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g., Dashboards, APIs, User Interfaces, etc.
  • Balance of technical knowledge and discernment.
  • Customer-first, user experience mentality.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills, able to lead multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.

Digital Literacy:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications Excel and Word.
  • Confluence, JIRA, and Visio experience preferred

The base salary range for this position is between $119,295.00 to $159,060.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago. Some periodic travel will be required.
