Job Description

Team: Finance

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Financial Planner in United States.

This role is designed for a client-focused financial planning professional who wants to move beyond traditional sales-driven advisory models and focus entirely on meaningful, unbiased financial guidance. You will support members in achieving long-term financial wellness through holistic planning that integrates every aspect of their financial lives. Working within a modern, tech-enabled environment, you will collaborate with internal teams and leverage advanced tools to deliver personalized, actionable advice at scale. The position emphasizes relationship-building, behavioral coaching, and impact over product sales. You will manage a small portfolio of members while ensuring high-quality, responsive financial guidance. This is an opportunity to grow within a mission-driven, collaborative environment that values transparency, innovation, and member success.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide end-to-end financial planning support for assigned members, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor throughout the planning journey.
  • Review and assess incoming member requests, determining urgency and coordinating appropriate actions or escalations when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including investment and operations specialists, to design and implement effective financial and tax strategies.
  • Translate complex financial situations into clear, actionable guidance that helps members make informed decisions aligned with their goals.
  • Guide members through financial plan implementation using digital tools, messaging platforms, and structured workflows.
  • Manage your schedule efficiently to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery and strong member engagement.
  • Contribute to a technology-forward planning model by actively using AI-enabled tools and internal systems to enhance outcomes.
  • Requirements:

    • CFP® certification is required.
    • 1+ year of experience in a client-facing financial planning or advisory role.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and effectively.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple client needs efficiently.
    • Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to quickly learn proprietary tools and financial planning platforms.
    • A client-first mindset with a strong commitment to delivering unbiased, goal-oriented financial advice.
    • Adaptability and comfort working in a remote, technology-driven environment.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range of $85,000–$100,000 plus bonus eligibility.
      • Equity (ISO), allowing employees to share in the company’s long-term success.
      • Flexible paid time off to support work-life balance.
      • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
      • Short- and long-term disability coverage fully paid by the employer.
      • Life insurance options and paid parental leave.
      • Certification reimbursement program to support ongoing professional development.
      • Fully remote work opportunity anywhere within the United States.
