FP&A Analyst (Contract)

The Finance team at Riot is dedicated to helping Riot's senior leadership make the best decisions for Players. Our team consists of experts from a variety of finance backgrounds with a shared focus on providing Riot leaders with an understanding of the financial impact of meaningful decisions. We are a critical part of long-term value creation for Riot.

As FP&A Analyst you will report into the Manager FP&A. You will be required to build strong and meaningful relationships across the company to support the business partnering of FP&A with all APAC regions and departments. 

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the FP&A Analysts and the Manager of FP&A.
• Assist and complete monthly forecasting, monthly variance analysis and analyse actual revenue and cost against planned. 
• Monitor monthly operating expenditure of all business units.
• Review Travel & Expense spend.
• Review of all entities’ monthly reporting packs to ensure global reporting policies are adhered to.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly accruals.
• Engage with global finance teams to ensure we follow global reporting practices.
• Assist with the annual budget.
• Promoting process improvement is essential to the role. 
• Executing work with high levels of accuracy and detail is required.

Required Qualifications:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified with 2-3 years PQE
• Experience in data analysis and an ability to translate the activities of the business into numerical form and present these using the range of products available from Microsoft.
• Proven diligence and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications: 

• Experience in Oracle, Hyperion packages, or implementation of improvements to an existing finance tool
• Experience in an FP&A of business support role 
• Experience in pulling together month end management accounting reporting would be beneficial to this role.
• Experience working across multiple lines of business with a variety of complex products or services, all in an environment that is constantly changing is highly desired
