Job Description

Position Summary:

The position is a key role to lead all FP&A activities for critical business divisions of Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) in Thermo Fisher scientific in Japan. As a strategic business partner, the position will actively work with a Sr. director-level Commercial Leaders in Japan as well as regional/global Finance counterparts for assigned business divisions. The manager expects to provide insightful financial analysis to drive divisions' performance improvement and support execution. The manager takes the responsibility to cover Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD), Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) and Installment Enterprise Services (IES) in AIG by leading three subordinates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, or equivalent knowledge; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years proven experiences in FP&A or Commercial Finance roles, 1+ years experiences as people manager.
  • Thorough understanding in financial accounting
  • Effective verbal & written communication abilities in English and Japanese
  • Preferred experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and analytical tools (Hyperion)
