This is a critical role to expand and evolve financial and metric reporting, automation, analyses, and cross-functional collaboration - and will directly support leader decision-making and the growing complexity of Carrot operations. You will be an early member of the FP&A team and take part, with the opportunity to lead and guide, high-impact and visible projects.

  • Deliver ongoing reporting to cross-functional stakeholders to benchmark progress against targets, initiatives, and strategies
  • Act as a strong business partner to Accounting to instill financial rigor and accuracy in financial statements

The Team:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and creative finance individual to join our small team as an early founding member. This role will report to the Senior FP&A Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of analytical and/or financial experience (SaaS, subscription based, or healthcare a plus) with advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills
  • Proven success improving or building from scratch financial processes, reports, and analyses
  • Articulate verbal and written communication skills with an ability to distill complicated processes or financial definitions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfort with crafting analyses and making assumptions from incomplete data
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and delivering under time pressure
  • Adept at putting processes and documentation in place to provide structure and work efficiently
  • Skillfully and respectfully challenges the status quo and embraces new ways of thinking
  • Experience with achieving stakeholder expectations and cross-functional collaboration in a fully dispersed workforce across different time zones
  • Self-motivated to learn from existing resources as well as leveraging others’ expertise
  • Learns quickly and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
  • Self-starter with a desire to grow and take on more
  • Genuine interest and excitement in being a part of Carrot’s mission
