Freelance Production Artist, Direct Mail

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Working closely with product designers to understand design concepts and translate them into detailed design specifications for printing;
• Conducting thorough quality assurance checks to ensure that design specifications adhere to technical requirements for printing;
• Performing quality assurance tasks and checks on designs to ready for print production;
• Packaging designs for press for direct mail materials, including letters, postcards, envelopes, brochures, and promotional materials.

Must-have qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; 
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
• Passion, integrity and energy; and
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage deadlines and project milestones.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Background in politics, fundraising, or advocacy preferred but not required.

Pay rate for this role starts at $25/hour and goes up depending on experience.
