Our goal is to build the best portal experience for the conversational bot platform that can allow easy management for our business partners.

As a Front-end Software Development Engineer, you propose, prototype, design and implement various portal capabilities in collaboration with teammates. By now, you would have built and supported public facing web applications which are interactive, performant, and at scale.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the analysis, design, development, and deployment efforts of React based plug-ins for multiple enterprise application projects to solve complex business problems
• Own and deliver tested and optimized high-performance code for public facing, enterprise web portals applications
• Participate in resolution of production issues and develop solutions to prevent future issues from happening again
• Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers in an agile development environment
• Work with the product team to quickly prototype and iterate on new ideas - and you'll create fast, easy-to-use, and intuitive applications

Who you are:

• Bachelor's in arts or science or in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
• Deep understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
• Experience playing key roles in technical designs, mentoring junior developers, and helping to drive engineering maturity
• Passionate about quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising
• Experienced in delivering sophisticated UI solutions, you have worked on enterprise web portal and have helped operationalize it
• Self-starter that enjoys and takes pride in the development work of their team
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and exciting environment
• 4-7+ years of experience in front-end and backend development
• Experience building full-stack applications with React, Node.js, AWS etc
• Solid knowledge of modern web standards and technologies (ES6, CSS/Sass, HTML 5 etc)
• A passion for solving complex software engineering puzzles in a dynamic environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Required: React, Redux, CSS/Sass, HTML 5, D3, Javascript, Node.js, Express
• Preferred: AWS (or similar Cloud platform), GIT, Docker, Splunk, Jenkins/Bamboo (modern build systems)
• Mobile web development experience is a plus
• Experience using bug/issue tracking and code review tools is a plus
• Contributions to open-source projects would be a plus
