Learn about Structured Finance. You will learn about the participants, terminology, and mechanics of Structured Finance. You will have an exclusive view into how messy data can be transformed to enable our customers to generate actionable insights. 

Develop using a modern, open source front-end stack (React, TypeScript, Recoil). You will develop on top of a software stack that includes the latest versions of React, TypeScript and Recoil. We continuously evaluate and adopt new open source technologies to solve customer needs and ensure our systems are future-ready. The principles you learn and techniques you develop here will serve you well beyond dv01.

Explore cutting-edge backend technologies (Scala 3, ZIO, Tapir, BigQuery). You are capable of spanning the entire stack when necessary. You will have opportunities to learn the Scala programming language and architecture (ZIO) used to construct our backend systems.

Apply Agile Methodologies. You will work in an Agile environment, teams that follow agile principles can execute projects faster along with improving the quality of the overall deliverables.

Interact with a diverse team. You will collaborate closely with other teams at dv01 to expand and improve the capabilities of our data platform. This includes working closely with a variety of finance and engineering teams to resolve scaling or functionality pain points in data visualization and enable us to ship new products.

A well-rounded engineer. You have meaningful programming experience with ReactJs and TypeScript along with deep appreciation for engineering fundamentals. You understand the importance of writing tests, designing systems for long term maintainability, and evaluating both sides of common engineering considerations. You research and stay up to date with new technologies and libraries.

An effective communicator. You take time to empathize and jump into the perspective of those who you are writing software for. You see value in collaborating with other team members often and providing support when failures happen. At the end of the day software engineering is a team sport.

Interested in both engineering and finance. You are excited to learn more about the intricacies of Structured Finance. You are adept at learning on the job and unafraid to dive into technical topics in finance and marry that with your engineering knowledge.
