The Cloud Platforms organization enables Yahoo teams to develop, deploy, and operate products efficiently and reliably on scalable, on-demand platforms with cloud-first principles. We automate, secure, and govern Yahoo's significant public cloud presence. We are a high-performance team of passionate engineers who are enthusiastic about creating platform services, architectures, and programs to help our customers succeed.
Responsibilities:

• Implement features from design requirements to deploying out the features to the end-users
• Implement testing automation and processes to enhance front end applications to ensure exceptional quality and performance of features and components developed
• Collaborate with the design team, your direct co-workers, and remote organizations
• Apply agile development methodologies to build software

A Lot About You:
As a key member of the Public Cloud Platform, you will help the team maintain multiple internal services that are used by Yahoo to manage more than 1200+ on-demand cloud computing accounts. In this role you will help build new features for those services to improve how Yahoo manages costs, utilization, and security of public cloud platforms.

• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent combination of experience
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in full stack engineering with a strong passion for building backend infrastructure services and delivering engaging user experiences.
• Familiarity with Golang and Node.js
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to drive the problem resolution process from start to finish
