Full Stack App Developer

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies is seeking a Full Stack App Developer to support the U.S. Forest Service (FS) with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of deployed applications, agile development of new applications and modernization of legacy applications using both custom and low-code approaches.

Duties/ Responsibilities 

• Work with Product Owners and Scrum team to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components to produce defect-free, thoroughly tested enterprise application.
• Perform and lead the detailed technical design, coding, code review and testing of new enterprise application. Design and develop application front-end, back-end, and security.
• Support the Project Manager as the technical team lead on the project. Play a crucial role in product scoping and roadmap / architecture discussions.
• Migrate data fields from legacy applications into the enterprise application, replacing multiple legacy applications.
• Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, development, QA, and implementation.
• Provide expertise in application design to maximize performance including refactoring code and identifying simplifications to the design of the applications that could lead to reduced maintenance.
• Use Agency approved and specified GitHub repository to store source code, document code, release packages, and associated artifacts
• Write clean and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards

Required Skills/Abilities

• At least 7 years of strong hands-on software development experience in cloud environment
• At least 7 years of experience in developing products/applications in .NET Core 2.x and above
• Experience in building SOAP & REST web services
• Experience in building Web API
• Ability to read/write SQL queries
• Experience with SQL Server and migrating data into SQL Server
• Experience managing Geospatially-enabled databases
• Strong experience with full stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back-end architecture
• Experience with agile development
• 5+ years of experience with Angular
• Familiarity with Node.js and its core principles
• Familiar with Git and GitHub (branching, merging, code review, pull request, etc.)
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reading comprehension, writing correspondences, leading meetings with customers, and providing demos
• Must be a citizen a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Education and Experience:

• 7+ years of development experience
  Bachelor of Science in business analysis, business administration, IT, or any related field

Clearance Requirement:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Salary:

• $130-140k
