About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer reporting to our Engineering Manager on our LimitedPartner Engineering team.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a direct and immediate impact on the expansion of our Legal Operating System. You will be working with a passionate team, developing new features that will both simplify and streamline processes by digitizing entire workflows. Developing this digital portal will remove much of the manual burden for clients in private equity and other private markets.

What you'll do

• Build software: Developing product features, fixing bugs, and performing code reviews
• Scale the business: Develops complex products with minimal oversight
• Create partnerships: Collaborating with engineers, designers and product teams to drive requirements that align cross departmentally
• Proactivity: Reliably deliver high quality solutions for assigned work

What you'll bring

• Required experience: 3+ years of full-time engineering experience in an agile, fast-paced environment
• Technical skill set :
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• 3+ years of experience with React.js
• Fundamentals: Consistently applying best practices to software development, leading to the delivery of high quality and well-tested software
• Teamwork mindset: A drive to work with direct peers and cross-functional teams to complete projects and perform code reviews
