Functional QA Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Functional QA Analyst to join our dynamic quality assurance and game development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our games through rigorous testing and collaboration with developers, designers, and other QA team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing and Reporting:

• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on various game platforms (PC, console, mobile).
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using our bug tracking system.
• Perform thorough playtesting to ensure the overall quality and user experience of the game.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to understand game mechanics and features.
• Communicate effectively to ensure issues are resolved and improvements are made.

• Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Provide clear and concise feedback and reports on testing progress and issues encountered.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and game industry trends.
•  Participate in QA team meetings, providing insights and suggestions for process improve

Requirements

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Skills and Experience:

• Basic understanding of game development processes and lifecycle.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality games.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Desirable:

• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
• Development and programming languages like C++ and C#.
• Test automation.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages.
• Previous work experience in game testing or development.
