Program Overview

The MarketAxess Future Leaders in Action (FLIA) Program is a one-day event taking place on May 3rd, 2023, that will give you an insight into what it’s like to work at a fast-growing global fin-tech (financial technology) firm from our very own people at MarketAxess.  

Throughout the day, you will be introduced and learn about the FinTech industry, get exposure to leaders in the FinTech space, build networking skills and connections, and better understanding on how to succeed in this environment.  

The days will consist of: 

• Welcome to MarketAxess by CHRO 
• Overview of Sales and Technology by leaders in the division
• Resume Workshop
• Round table discussion (involving Q+A) with former interns.
• Networking Session
• Throughout the day, you will be assessed on your various contributions. Successful candidates will receive an invitation to attend one of our early Superday's to interview for a 2024 summer internship opportunity or Full-Time 2025 opportunity.

What You Bring to the Table 

• Must be a sophomore, graduating December 2024 or May 2025 
• Minimum 3.0 Overall GPA 
• You are a student who identifies as someone from a traditionally underrepresented background (Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Filipino, Vietnamese, Hmong, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and/or Native American descent).
• Currently studying bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:
  • Business 
  • Finance 
  • Economics 
  • Computer science
• Strong academic background with leadership qualities 
• Interest in the fin-tech space 
• A passionate student leader

This program will be unpaid.
