The GenAI Technology Team at Point72 is a group of skilled professionals who are responsible for conceptualizing and developing, the firm’s Generative AI efforts.  The team works closely with business stakeholders, the Technology Innovation Team, and development teams across Technology to deploy cutting-edge AI technology that has the ability to transform the firm’s operations.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will work to deliver a stable production environment for the firm as it continues to explore and build out GenAI efforts. You will provide world-class service to our internal clients, anticipating their needs by collaborating across the firm’s technology teams. You will provide technical assistance relating to GenAI/LLM platforms and LLM models.

Specifically, you will:

• Respond to service requests from users and manage the service requests from start to end
• Restore normal service operations in the event of disruption as quickly as possible and minimize adverse impact on business operations
• Determine and document root cause, identify preventative actions, and track closure
• Support business as usual activities such as GenAI Data/Operations from and to various systems, regional and global EODs, onboarding/offboarding, and permissions
• Monitor application alerts, ensuring alerting is up to date for applications in scope
• Monitor any batch jobs and vendor feeds, ensuring they meet SLAs and escalate as necessary
• Review, assess and approve production changes for supported applications and production readiness for support
• Complete the process of managing, planning, scheduling, and deploying a release
• Review and execute failover from production to disaster recovery
• Assess supportability and resource requirements to take over new applications, processes and/or features
• Train users on how to use applications effectively, which may involve creating user manuals or conducting training sessions in partnership with Compliance

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of software applications and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and train end-users
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well amongst team members
• Curiosity and the ability to embrace uncertainty and be comfortable with failure while exploring with new ideas
• Commitment and adherence to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000-$175,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
